Gosh. You poor thing. Life for men is _rough_. Did you see how many Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs) happen in the NFL each year? 281! And way more in the military each year: 18,000!!

Wanna guess how many women have TBIs each year because their violent partner beat them up?
1,600,000.

It's weird because I swear there are whole movies about TBIs in the NFL, but the article I linked, which came out April 8 of this year, is the first time I've _ever_ heard TBIs mentioned in reference to women.
But sure, our society never ignores things that are hard for women in order to make life easier for men.
More fun facts while we're here: Nearly 1 in 3 women age 15 or older will experience physical or sexual IPV. And it occurs in all settings, amongst all socioeconomic, religious and cultural groups.

You seem to be confused on the usage of responsible. It can be used multiple ways. Mainly 1) Assigning credit for something that has already happened (Hey, the Johnson's lawn sure looks good. I wonder who's responsible for their yard maintenance.). Or...
2) Assigning accountability for something that will happen (That sports bar is pricey! Who is going to be responsible for picking up the tab?).
Since I wrote the thread, I can tell you that when I say men are 100% responsible for unwanted pregnancies, I'm assigning credit like the lawn example: Men are 100% responsible for [causing] unwanted pregnancies.

That in no way removes responsibility from women.

Not sure what thread you're reading. In the one I wrote, I brought up a few possible solutions to get people thinking, and then said that if you don't like my ideas, you can suggest your own:

Other ideas/solutions I've shared:

- A public opinion campaign to shift the conversation from stopping abortion to preventing unwanted pregnancies.

- A media focus on studies that prove easily available birth control reduces unwanted pregnancies (and therefore abortion).
- A public opinion campaign to help men recognize how dangerous their sperm is, and that they must be incredibly careful with their bodily fluids.

- Fund programs that make condoms as available, affordable, and commonplace as toilet paper.

It's time to talk about how HARMFUL it is when men wear uniforms or suits. It is a FACT that a man in a uniform/suit is only interested in getting women to think about sex, at whatever cost. It increases the chances of getting into a bad situation.
Everyone knows that seeing a "man in uniform" instantly makes women drop their panties and begin fornicating. Sure, you might feel handsome in the suit. You might feel like it's "work appropriate". But have you considered what you're doing to the women around you?
Suits/uniforms are designed with shoulder padding to make men look more manly. The jackets are designed to camouflage not-so-trim bellies. The pants are tapered and slimming. Men who wear suits are TRYING to get attention (so immodest!). Women can LITERALLY not resist.

Can we talk about white supremacists that are trained by our military? I think we should talk about that.

I served in the Army. I was trained as an infantryman. A grunt. That’s about as nuts-and-bolts as it gets in the military. (THREAD)
Infantry training is ongoing. Infantry units train constantly. All the time. It’s always something. To the point of being monotonous. If we weren’t at the firing range, we were doing hands-on tactical training. If not tactical, then classroom prep. Always. Something.
Thousands of hours of training and learning how to kill other people. I am a trained killer. That’s what an infantryman does. They kill. Other soldiers will laugh this off. “Okay, killer.” But they know I’m right. Deep down, that’s your purpose as an infantryman: to kill.
