Love thy neighbor.
All neighbors. No exceptions.

If I really hated them then I just did not hang out w them 🤷🏻‍♀️. No hateful speech or hateful laws.
3/ Most of my family in Texas is religious, republican, & single issue voters. Anti abortion, no matter what. Even if M@ga Trumpism breaks all the other 9 commandments.

TY @innodim for inviting me to speak! My cognitive PEM wouldn’t let me be great but I appreciate her encouragement & summary! Want to be sure my main points are clear in re to Black Maternal #Mental Health, Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders #PMADs, & disparities.#AIMART #BMHW22
I am no expert, so I'll share what I know. Black mothers are more at risk of #PMADs & are less likely to receive treatment b/c the structural social & economic inequities as a result of #antiBlack #racism & #misogynoir in this white supremacist patriarchal society.#BMHW22
“Close to 40% of Black mothers will suffer from postpartum depression [(PPD)]” OR ‘Systemic racism & sexism harm Black mothers which manifest as PPD for a reported ~40%.’ Addressing these risk factors associated w PMAD is key:
Lack of access to high-quality medical care

Ready for the #CFB Analytics Spring Top 40? Here we go. This Power Ranking is derived from a model which utilizes full Coach Staff efficiency metrics, roster talent, & returning production among other metrics. No opinion here, I just regurgitate the numbers. #NoOpinionJustNumbers
40 #Kentucky #BBN #SEC Power Rating: 61.726
Returning Production for the Wildcats may be a problem. At 39.72%, it puts them at 113th in the country. The schedule is manageable tho drawing Ole Miss & Miss State out the West. #CFB
39 #Washington #PurpleReign #Pac12
Power Rating: 62.271
Really like the new coaching staff in Seattle. Should put them in a better position to win. Roster talent purge from the prev regime will have an early effect (last 2 classes were 39th, 86th) but the ship has been righted.

Harris County Elections still only has partial numbers reported. Less than half of precincts reporting. Last year they took election responsibility away from the elected County Clerk & Registrar and gave to an appointed Elections Administrator.

Yesterday Harris County Elections informed the Texas Secretary of State that they would be unable to report vote results by the statutory deadline of 7 p.m. today. SoS TX says they are "closely monitoring" and stand "ready to assist."
The elections administrator's salary was slated to be $190k, appointment was given to a former staffer for State Sen. Sylvia Garcia who had run unsuccessfully for Houston City Council, but had not run elections previously.

Paper alert! I'm going to share the story of my paper with @barabasi , "Recovery Coupling in multilayer networks" out today in @NatureComms rdcu.be/cHcDN #networkscience #resilience #research 👨‍🔬🧑‍💻A thread.🧵
People have been solving models for interdependent networks for a while. The math is elegant and the models can easily show a plethora of interesting dynamical phenomena. I even wrote a review on the subject link.springer.com/chapter/10.100… #resilience #infrastructure #physics
The trouble is, most models require that a power asset can fail and cause a communication outage AND that a communication outage can cause a power outage. The first is common. The second? Hard to find. Both at once? No one has ever reported it. Image
