I was embarrassed for Ben Shapiro after watching that interview. Imagine how ignorant you have to be to think that Andrew Neil is a leftist. Comical.
Also, the “I’m popular and you’re not!” line by Ben Shapiro really shows how drunk he is with fame. This is what happens when people who manifestly had no popularity in high school achieve fame as adults. They are insufferable.
It is now abundantly clear why Ben Shapiro’s debate reputation is built on “destroying” college freshman. He couldn’t handle the heat of that rather tame BBC interview without quitting. It wasn’t even a grilling! I thought he was a fearsome debate champion?
Honestly, now I want to see Ben Shapiro do a hard interview. I’d love to see him interviewed by Mehdi Hasan on Al Jazeera’s Head to Head or on BBC’s HARDtalk with either Stephen Sackur or Zeinab Badawi.
