Today we have a portfolio of 12 investments and we are committed to investing in around 3/4 funds and 3/4 startups per year. But our support goes beyong VC, we also support local banks, which can lend to startups thanks to the guarantees we provide, and the ecosystem with @AFD_en
We want to invest more in North Africa and francophone Africa in the future, because as a #development finance institution, it is our mission to catalyse investments, and those 2 areas are very underpenetrated in terms of start-up investments. #Afrobytes

Hillary Clinton has all of our encryption keys, including the FBI's. "Encryption keys" is a general reference to several encryption functions hijacked by Hillary and her surrogate ENTRUST.
They include hash functions (used to indicate whether the contents have been altered in transit), PKI public/private key infrastructure, SSL (secure socket layer), TLS (transport layer security), Dual_EC_DRBG NSA algorithm (Dual Eliptical Curve Deterministic Random Bit Generator)
and certificate authorities. The convoluted structure managed by the gutless agency chief information officer "Federal Common Policy" group says it has "hundreds" of certificate authorities, but this is a material lie.

We’ve been following the chatter about the @nytimes article featuring our Zebra founders: @marazepeda @operaqueenie @jenniferbrandel @ajscholz. We'd like to respond (except for tweets about our looks, we’re going to skip responding to those, thanks.) ...and we’ve got receipts.
We see that some people are skeptical about whether this is real or a bunch of whining.
Friends, it’s an actual trend. From just our vantage, Zebras Unite has 3,000+ people who have contacted us from around the world, mostly entrepreneurs, who have said that there needs to be another option for companies who can / have scale but don’t want VC.

Over the past 15 years, there's been a dramatic increase in the number of venture capital funds, with new seed funds being the main driver of that growth. A full 60% of funds raised each year are now seed funds.
With all these new funds, there's been a corresponding spike in investment deals. There’s now an average of 1 venture capital investment being made every hour of every day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

3/ According to polls leading up to the race, the two were tied or Duckworth lead through the middle of October. Then it teetered toward Roskam for a few weeks until it went back to Duckworth. A month before the race, the Zogby/Reuters poll had Duckworth at +14.

1/ In 2017, the consensus structure to manage cryptoassets was a hedge fund. In 2018, we will see a trend of crypto-specific venture capital funds.
2/ We are seeing this already, with many of the prominent crypto hedge funds moving to raise venture capital funds— a good thing for the industry.
3/ Venture funds have committed capital (e.g., @placeholdervc’s is 10 years), which shields the fund from redemptions, providing more stable capital & allowing the managers to focus on helping the crypto-entrepreneurs.
