Even though we have had this information, we have still allowed private power to succeed. We are in a state now where they are so powerful it will take everything we have to remove it. The tweets I do, particularly in regards to action are the ones that get the least engagement.
I’m not sure where we go from here. If people don’t respond to what they can do, to calls to action, to call Congress then I’m not sure what else we can do. People quite easily engage with replies to politicians, or attacking Dems, but don’t engage with the same kind of
enthusiasm to calls to action. I feel pessimistic sometimes as to what the future holds. I sometimes will research and write threads that explain Russian interference, and it gets so little response. I honestly really believe that it’s just a waste of time.
It took a lot to write this tweet, but after three years this is what I’m seeing, massive engagement with superficialities and none with action and information.
I see it with other accounts, they have these really informative threads with so little engagement
then I see thread after thread of nothingness with 1000’s of engagements.

Are we wasting our time here? Is there really any point of researching to inform on this platform?
I’m seriously asking. It’s become a platform of egos, fighting, pettiness and superficiality. When we
could be using it for good. For action. For supporting our party, not attacking them.
There have been some great replies so thank you. Look at it as planting seeds, and time limitations of people. But even 10 minutes a day. @Cruellaisdevine, what is the web address/ Twitter handle for the 10 minutes a day action?
