better President? Because she understood smart power. She talked about smart power. Why does nobody trust Russia? Because they were all about hard power, invading countries and showing its might with military marches. No one around them trusts them. That’s why so many of the

Countries that were geopolitically vulnerable want to join the United Nations. Hard power alone does not work. China on the other hand used smart power, starting with the Olympics in 2008. This current administration in America is all about hard power. Building its military,

acting aggressively in so many ways. Hillary knew that we needed to build soft power as well as hard power. The US government is doing so little in protecting itself through soft power measures, that it is now losing a war that most Americans don’t even realise they are in.

The biggest vulnerability to American life is the American people. We have allowed both foreign and domestic opportunists to exploit us by exploiting the propaganda that induces fear into the fearful. Americans even vote against their own interests and end up losing

their healthcare and paying more taxes, because their fear of what they have been told through rhetoric, disinformation and propaganda TV rules their rational thinking. The slow and steady misinformation that built up through the years regarding immigration is the most prominent

of the propaganda. There were terrorists arriving at every airport, there were caravans of drug gangs on their way to the Mexican border, and people in rural America with towns of 50 were in panics and rushing to vote for a wall and travel bans. We believe we live in Democracy,

when really America is just a capitalist country at its core, we just believe we are still a democracy because we have the freedom to vote. We believe we have liberty, the most basic of human rights. That we have the freedom to hold what religious or political views we wish

That we have the freedom to express these views without fear or restraint, to decide for oneself where and in what manner we live our lives, these are the things of liberty in company with the pursuit of happiness. But freedom is not what it seems. It’s only the wealthy and

powerful that have a freedom that is positive in nature. Those of lower means, not so much. People if lower means lack the material means to achieve true freedom, it’s a negative freedom. We don’t have empowerment or autonomy that allows us to fulfil our potential or meet our

true destiny. Those in authority such as visionaries or zealots will them take on the view on how things should be and then they encourage us and tell us what they consider to be in our best interests. We end up with paternalistic governments that can turn to tyranny

setting a particular goal for society and prioritising a certain way of life for its citizens. We are seeing more and more that with more money being spent to get our healthcare, the more taxes we pay, the more expensive properties get, the less people are being paid, the less

we have to persue happiness. We become slaves to our circumstances, slaves to unfulling jobs because we do not have the freedom to take on personal pursuits like achieving more qualifications. We can’t take on those internships that don’t pay as we don’t have the means, meaning

the only people who have the freedom to chase their dreams are the wealthy, as they can afford to take on those unpaid internships to gain the experience they need for those jobs that will make them happy.
