Elizabeth Warren has been a tenured law professor at Harvard since 1995. She is one of the all-time most cited legal experts in bankruptcy and commercial law. The rate she charges is barely competitive with her male "peers" w/ far less expertise.

FUCK. THIS. NOISE.

PAY. WOMEN.
Oh, and she accomplished this with a degree from a public law school.

Y'all need to find better stories to write. This ain't it.
Giving thanks to the women in my life who encouraged me to insist on a higher pay rate on everything from job salary to articles I write. Time and again, when I was thinking of settling, they told me to make the ask I deserve, and it's always worth it.

This is another day in a two-year campaign intended to normalize and enable violence and discrimination against trans people. Step by step, they are working to dehumanize us. They are trying to make it easier for the American public to see us killed.

Raise your hand if you're a trans woman who has often made decisions over things as routine as going to a pool or a gym or a public restroom solely on the probability that someone there might start shit.

Trans people constantly bend over backwards to accommodate cis folks.
I honestly don't think the vast majority of cis people understand just how much trans people avoid discomforting cis folks at our own expense. Do you know how many times I haven't used a public restroom because there's a line and standing there might draw negative attention?
I haven't played recreational softball in two years, something I used to love doing. Why? Because even in something as low stakes as recreational softball, someone might get pissed that a team rightly counts me as a woman in their gender requirements.

Seriously you have to go out of your way to fuck up that badly. Yesterday wasn't a mistake. It was a trainwreck. Warren was the conductor. Leading her career off the tracks, and down the side of a long, steep cliff.
What could Warren have gained from that DNA test? People made jokes about Warren's background, sure. But nobody "gave a shit" besides her.
