Now that you have won the elections handsomely, there are some things on my mind that I always wanted to say. I guess now is the time to do it.

1. Demonitization and GST, were a disaster. The intent was right, the execution horrible. They were pushed thru, even when the system wasn't ready for them. They caused untold pain to the people at the bottom of the pyramid. And almost choked the life out of small businesses

1. You sir, were lucky, because the opposition is so pathetic, that they couldn't take advantage. Come 2024, it might not be the case. So please don't embark on such adventures.

Even if someone says it affects only 5% of the population, it is still 5 crore people.

2. Take care of the unorganized sector. 80% of India's employment comes from here. Any additional burden on them, and the impact is exponential. Become their friend, understand their issues and solve them. Today, the govt is their biggest enemy and roadblock. Please change it

3. I know black money and tax evasion is an issue, but instead of going after people, understand why it happened in the first place. Remove oppressive corporate taxes and enervating procedures. Ensure everyone earns good money, and they will pay taxes happily.

4. We have enough regulations, don't add more like DTH, E-commerce etc. Every regulation becomes a point of bribe for a particular babu and pain in the ass for us. Tweak the current ones and make them better.

Businesses should have confidence in the govt, not trepidation.

5. Impose strict timelines on all govt procedures. PAN Card takes one month, approvals take six. Simplify the language of tax laws so that govt officials don't interpret it the way they want. And reduce number of approvals. 63 approvals to start a hotel in 2019, is not done.

6. Put fear of God in bureaucrats. If some accident happens due the failure of a babu, book him for culpable homicide. If they delay, fine them heavily. They have taken us for a ride in the last 70 years. If there is someone who can change them, it is you.

7. Bring certainty and confidence to small businesses. Let them know that the govt won't take any steps to hurt them. And Don't apply any laws retrospectively. Ask Tirupur people about their duty drawback clause and they will tell you why Ethiopia is overtaking India in textiles

8. Encourage manufacturing in small scale sectors. Give them tax holidays like you did with food processing. Make the patent process easy .Don't burden them with regulations. One day, These small industries will coalesce and make India a manufacturing powerhouse.

Once again, Congratulations on this massive mandate. After a long time we have a PM whom people trust and love.

Take India to greater glory.
