Certain Company:

Worker max pay: $23 an hour

CEO net worth: $8.9 Billion

For worker get the same net worth as the CEO is currently, they would have to work over 186,000 years using a 40 hour work week and having NO expenses, taxes, etc.
For those wondering, the worker would have to start working before the earliest known occurrence of the out of Africa migration(185,000 years ago) in order to have that amount today.
In order for a person to make that amount of money in a work life(working from 20 to 65, total of 45 years), the worker would have to make over $197,000,000 a year, again without any expenses, taxes, and such.
If we taxed the total net worth of all people who has over $10 million at 50%, that would give the US Government about $2 Trillion that first year. The US deficit is about $780 Billion a year. That is a surplus of $1.22 Trillion that year.
Now, remember that was just the individual people, not the businesses and corporations who make even more. An extra tax for them could include using the standard deviation of all wages and profits to make sure that they stay inside a specific range/spread.
This wouldn't hurt small business, but would make sure that if a CEO of larger businesses makes too much more than the workers, the business would be taxed enough to encourage them to reduce the CEO's salary or raise worker's pay.
That was just a few thoughts and a small glimpse at the current class disparity and a couple ways to fix it.
