The number of gmalls.com alone probably justifies an NPM package or similar which will use sophisticated ML ^H^H^H a hand-curated mapping of typoed domains to real domains.
Another thing that sophisticated technologists believe about their use of email with more confidence than warranted: they will remember and routinely employ the person+whatever@example.com whatever thing they used to sign up for your service when attempting to sign in.
(I have routinely hand-coded, and this feels silly to hand-code versus getting from a library, “If someone tries to log in as person@example.com and we have don’t have that but do have person+something@example.com optimistically try the password there as well before erroring.”)
