Complementarian theology that *isn’t* good for women isn’t complementarian theology...

...unless we think Jesus’s sacrifice of himself isn’t good for the church.

If it’s boiling down to wives sacrificing themselves for their husbands, it’s not complementarian theology. Period.
Many women have been *very hurt* by things that have been passed off as complementarian theology, but *have* boiled down to wives sacrificing themselves for their husbands. This is a disgrace & a failure to follow the scriptures.
The answer is to go back to our bibles, see what God’s word *actually* says, & do our best to apply it.
“Husband, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” (Ephesians 5:25)
