We are going to defeat Trump the same way we whupped your ass and flipped seats in the 2018 midterms - by being full-throated Dems with policies that please and turn out Dems. And will also help Trumpers.

If any of those “voters who backed Trump in 2016” is persuadable, they’ve already abandoned the Trump cult. If they haven’t after the display we’ve seen so far, there’s nothing any Dem can do to change their mind.

So do that gorgeous dance just like you did in 2018.

We HAVE a majority, without the Trump cultists and unrepentant racists/sexists. We already have it. Everywhere. Even the South. Even “ruby red” states.

That’s why this panic to convince Dems to change our policies. It’s coming from GOPs who know they’ve lost, and we will win.

So they’re trying to infect us with their own unelectable policies. By hostile injection.

If we Dems actually did change the way Nocera and Stephens and the WSJ and such are urging - we’d lose. That’s why they want us to run Biden. He’s a losing candidate. And they know it.

Anyone who would vote for a Biden is already voting for Trump. REGARDLESS of who we run.

GOP strategists and their media flacks want desperately for Dems to go back to “Republican lite - just as shitty, but less openly hateful.”

That’s how Dems surrendered districts, Senate seats, state houses, national races to the GOP for decades. The GOP can’t win unless we neuter our policies, neuter our rhetoric, tie our Dem hands behind our backs, and let them.

They’re panicking. They know this.
