David Sirota is a walking cautionary tale.

Cherry-picking polls to make the case for your candidate is a horrible idea. Cherry-picking polls to make the case for a conspiracy against your candidate is even worse.
Bernie's been solidly in second place behind a wobbly Biden for months, with Warren slowly gaining on him. Harris is having post-debate moment that's coinciding with a slight Bernie dip, so right now it's basically a three-way race for second.
That's not a horrible place to be. A month from now, Bernie could easily have second place to himself again, or even be battling (somebody) for first. Anyone who says that's impossible is lying to you, or ignorant.
But that's not the argument Sirota is making. The argument Sirota is making is stupid, and an insult to the intelligence of the people he's making it to. He's a liability to the Sanders campaign, and not a small one.
(And yeah, he's not helping with the campaign's online asshole problem, either, as my mentions right now can tell you.)
