I really doubt he's giving anybody up, but if he gives up Bernie, Warren, or AOC, I'll eat a shoe and livestream it.

Yes, there are both Republicans and Democrats who have been—in the most generous possible reading—willing to turn a blind eye to Epstein's rape of children. But those who did are not my allies, and if they somehow are made to pay for their crimes, everyone I know will rejoice.
We often can't know what people do in their private lives. But Jeffrey Epstein's crimes have been a matter of public record for a very long time, as is the list of his cronies. Any surprises to emerge in the coming weeks will not be particularly surprising surprises.

It's not a huge step from "I tweeted death threats at a corporate mascot account, never contemplating that I was tweeting at an actual person" to "I tweeted death threats at some person's account, never contemplating that I was tweeting at an actual person."
If you're tweeting violent, abusive crap at strangers, you're making the internet, and the world, a shittier place. And the internet, and the world, are shitty enough already.
This is why I block abusive people so quickly, and why I block rather than muting. I don't want to interact with abusive people, I don't want them finding people to abuse through me, and I don't want them setting a standard for interactions in my mentions.

One politician can't do it alone. It's about the people.
I'm trying to move past attachments to individual politicians so that I can focus on the issues. I've criticized Bernie on some things, and I still feel those critiques are valid. But I can say that for Hillary or any other politician. The key is to spark a progressive movement.

I was really hoping to elect a person of color, and I still have some interest in Harris. But she's getting too much heat for her prosecutor background. Besides Warren has the most policies that align with my view of America, AND she knows how to make those goals achievable!
And Buttigieg... I'm still learning about his ability to govern, but I'm continually impressed by how worldly and hella SMART he is. and he's obviously had some inside experience of oppression as a gay man from middle America.
