With #ICERaids looming, here are a few things everyone should know:

DO NOT:
-open your door to ICE
-sign anything
-lie to an ICE agent

DO:
-ask to see a warrant signed by a judge
-insist on your right to remain silent
-have someone document the interaction
-ask for a lawyer

If you or a loved one have a vulnerable immigration status, it's best to make a plan in case you encounter ICE.

Allies: use your privilege to document ICE’s activity whenever possible.

Focus your camera on law enforcement—not on the person being targeted.

Try to capture details like whether the ICE agents have badges, weapons, or any paperwork.
