An unofficial commemorative coin has been circulating among Border Patrol agents at the U.S./Mexico border, mocking the task of caring for migrant children. propublica.org/article/border…

My advice, and I know that is generally why you are all here, is dont miss this album release if you want to be considered someone with good musical taste. @aronmagner is taking @SPAGAband in the right direction with this album. 🎶🦏🎶🦏🎶🦏🎶
I mean, yes, I get it. @SPAGAband is new ish so "taking in the right direction" presumably is easy. But taking something totally new, making it accessible to your rabid @disco_biscuits fans while establishing an unquestionably distinct sound is no small feat.
One @SPAGAband tracks is out already. Low & behold @KunjShah87 (@L4LM) snagged the exclusive premiere. Not surprising. But am I mad? No, the track is GOOD and Kunj use to ask MY advice and guidance when L4LM first started out. So really, his win is my win.

Following AG Barr’s decision to unilaterally disallow bail hearings for any asylum seekers, many folks admitted they do not grok the difference between immigration courts and our real justice system.

Information is the devil's mistress, so let's do this!
First, there is a difference between immigration courts and our actual real justice system. The justice system that everyone generally thinks of, with local county courthouses, district, circuit courts, all the way up to SCOTUS: that's a whole branch of government unto itself.

They're under the aegis of the Executive Branch, specifically part of the Department of Justice, and the AG is the Boss. ICs used to be part of INS, but a few years back, they were moved to DoJ in a hope for more impartiality.
