Epstein's attorneys heavily implied that the passport was a decoy that was not used, suggesting the gov't lack evidence to the contrary--but stopped short of *saying* it was not used.
Prosecutors just called that bluff.
Hard to read this passage by Team Epstein's last brief as meaning their client ever used this passport for foreign travel. It looks like a pretty clear claim he never used it.
