Throwing an object at the same speed but different angles defines an ellipse via its maximum height

• To extract the ellipse, we solve for the point of maximum height (𝑥(θ), 𝑦(θ)) as a function of launch angle θ

• Indeed, these coordinates define the ellipse given below, where 𝑝 is the max height achieved when shot straight up
