The ex-cop (who was locked up for drug trafficking and murder) w/ phone access who may have had something to do w Epstein's injuries was from Briarcliff Manor, a town a north of NYC known for its wealthy estate-owning families, including the Vanderbilts, Astors, & Rockefellers.

The Briarcliff Manor's police department's troubles with unsavory cops goes right up to the level of the ex-chief himself, who was suspended without pay in 2015 for an infraction that no one in the department will discuss.

Given that he was not only suspended without pay but retired quickly thereafter, it's likely that the infraction was bad enough that there was no chance of him coming back.

Tartaglione likely knew Gerard Benderoth, an ex-cop & wannabe World's Strongest Man who worked for the NYPD & Haverstraw, NY, PD. Benderoth killed himself after being pulled over by the FBI in 2016 for questioning in relation to Tartaglione's murders.

The murders themselves were carried out at the Likquid Lounge, a bar in Chester, NY, owned by Tartaglione's brother. Can't find any info on the place now because it's closed, or on the brother and his possible connections through the bar.

Another perhaps-important connection is that Tartaglione's defense lawyer, Mark DeMarco, also defended Genovese crime family captain Pasquale “Patsy” Parrello in 2017. The other defense lawyer in the latter case, Kevin Faga, has also defended mob-connected Anthony Borgese.

Not very useful but red meat for the Clinton-inclined conspiracy theorists: Maurene Comey, James Comey's daughter, is a lead prosecutor both in the Epstein case and was in Tartaglione's case as well.
