Now imagine hundreds of thousands of people just like him with violent and paranoid tendencies just like his, getting told daily on social media that he’s right to feel that way and in fact isn’t going far enough, with posts from likeminded people clustered on his feed daily
And imagine that people like are being targeted for such disinformation deliberately, using huge amounts of intimate data secretly collected and analyzed, specifically to predict our habits and control future outcomes. Because that’s what @facebook is still doing
It’s not people who are happy with their lives who are targeted. Remember, these are old techniques developed in part by Edward Bernays -- specifically for social control. Consumerism always was used specifically for social control. It has now been superpowered by social media.

Yeah, he was wrong. He was loudly and aggressively wrong -- and he smeared his critics for years.

And that's why no one should ever listen to what he says or take any of his statements now seriously. The only way he can redeem himself is by taking himself out of the game.
He could donate all that money he made on the backs of his lies to independent climate change research, for example.
I'm getting really tired of the people who pushed us into the situation we're in now when those of us who saw the problems early on were mocked or ignored now appealing to the rest of us for redemption and forgiveness. Fuck you.

All the ridiculous insults I lob at white supremacists is an attempt not to upset them - a bonus - but to hopefully make them look like the fools they are to people who appreciate trolling but may be on the fence. It is a powerful tactic, as you can see
With white supremacist disinformation purveyors, appealing to shared humanity or simply debunking them isn’t enough. They must be publicly bullied and deplatformed and this is why. Lives are at stake. Our lives

Now Fascism Today is talking about getting fascists kicked off social media platforms and the fear that the same tactic could be used against antifascists, and is portraying social media companies as WAAAAAAY bigger allies than they are.
Like, he talks about which fascists have been kicked off Twitter and Facebook without mentioning *just how long* it took to get them booted, *just how many* are still online, or the ways these sites profit off of Nazi presence.
Fuckin' Jack Dorsey *following* half the Nazis on here should at least warrant a mention, I think?

He also doesn't even mention ban evasions and alt accounts.

First, know that 99% of what event organizers try to sell you is utterly useless.

It’s incredibly easy to waste insane amounts of money and end up with nothing to show for it.
Let’s start with trade show floors:

Often traffic is low, particularly if a conference is content-driven (as most good ones are).

Most people walking the floor are just looking for free swag.

If you need to sell to an enterprise CIO, you’ll never meet them here.
And to make your booth stand out, you usually need to splash an obscene amount of cash.

You need to score a good spot (corner/in a high traffic area), have a beautifully designed booth, invest in lighting, and staff it around the clock with great sales people.

People nowadays have the power to be content creators on any platform

People need content ideas

Brands that create products with nice packaging or unique functionality that give people content to post are the ones that will blow up the fastest
When you’re marketing for your product, market it as if you’re suggesting content ideas for people that would purchase it for the sole purpose of taking pics and posting on their social media

some people will only buy your stuff JUST to take pics
This is where content marketing comes in:

Look at how anti social social club used influencers to promote a specific camera angle to capture their caps, so everyone started buying caps and posting that same picture to their IG

#Fact 1 - The Wage Gap is real. People who says it's not haven't read the data.

However, in places like the USA, the wage gap is *not* mostly due to sexism like many #femnist #WomenInScience are claiming it is today. Disparate outcomes doesn't imply disparate treatment.
Women typically choose fields that are lower paying; even in the #STEM fields. To attribute that to sexism only or even mostly is a very dishonest way of deriving an answer for this complex disparity.
