The FBI is officially investigating the circumstances of Epstein’s apparent death by suicide in his Special Housing Unit cell at Manhattan Correctional Facility, where Epstein was held without bail awaiting trial on child sex trafficking charges next year.

NEW: Senator Ben Sasse wrote a furious letter to Attorney General Barr, telling him that DOJ “failed” in its duty to keep Epstein alive long enough for Epstein to be forced to face justice for his alleged child sex crimes and that “heads must roll” at DOJ.
