Listening to a conversation about "programming".

Why do I get to hear people talking about "programming" that obviously don't know about "programming".

OH: "I like programming, but I don't like all the other bits that people do, like looking after stuff when it goes live"
OH: "The thing is with *education* is that each level gets harder"

One older person is giving advice to a younger person, and it's all fine, but there are some proper facepalm moments.
Now... the older guy is explaining how to get into working at investment banks.

This is interesting.

Younger guy is "I want to make lots of money"
