All I'm saying is, the idea of "no morality without god" is objectively incorrect. Lots of us don't believe, and lots of us behave with solid moral convictions.
We don't even need to be threatened with Hell not to be assholes. AMAZING!
You can not believe and be good and kind. You can believe devoutly and murder someone (sometimes even in the name of your deity, no less).
If you're advertising that without a god you'd do whatever you want to whoever you want, you have a deeply fucked up brain.
Um. Yeah. It is. You have to choose to be a decent person, and you have to choose why.
Even if you believe in a faith, there's nothing stopping you from acting against your morality while on earth except your own choices.
There are a dozen or more interpretations of just Christianity.
Which one is the correct one? Which one reflects God's morals?
Or ... better idea ... be kind. Be empathetic. Do your best. Know you're going to fail even when you try not to. But try. Try to be a decent person.
I don't know God, but that seems right.
And the irrational ones, well ...
