Lewis' outsize influence among members of the Congressional Black Caucus and among House progressives -- dozens of whom have remained silent on a potential impeachment inquiry -- could bring many of them on board.

-DeLauro (D-CT)
-Larson (D-CT)
-Phillips (D-MN)
-Gonzalez (D-TX)
-Lynch (D-MA)

This despite DOJ saying they have largely satisfied the formal requests from committees.

@TGowdySC continued to appear lukewarm to the idea. "Impeachment is a punishment, not a remedy. If you’re looking for documents then you want compliance."
