He talked about the film (which is about the men’s rights movement) for several floors. I said nothing. When another man got on the elevator, MRA man said “I’ll shut up now”. FYI if a stranger on an elevator is staring at the wall & not responding: they don’t want to talk to you.

Also: “Going to be an interesting field” cracks me up. Like, dude just because you heard about the field of GWS a few months ago doesn’t mean this shit is new. 🙄🙄🙄

This is why I normally just tell masculine presenting strangers that I “work for the university” or I “teach af UW-Madison” because I don’t want to engage.

One time I told a man I did Gender Studies and he said “Gender Studies?! Whaddya mean?!” He then grabbed his dick inside his pants and said “Yup, I’m a man. What else is there to know?” and laughed way too hard while staring at me.

TBH I almost felt bad for him because of how hard he seemed to be performing & the fact that he reduced his own manhood to a penis. FWIW, men, feminism can free you of gender restraints too. It’s better on this side of the intellectual fence for all of us IMHO.
