Respectfully, @DanPatrick , please explain how one establishes criminalizes federally regulated private transfers (UCBs) without establishing a registry. I have invited you repeatedly to discuss this with me on my broadcast via my producer and have yet to receive a response. #2A

Upon Tweeting this (exactly 1 minute later), Patrick’s office called @INDIO_RADIO saying they did respond via email to Kane’s previous requests, however they still will not give any time for an on-air discussion. I do hope they find some time for discussion. #DanaRadio
@INDIO_RADIO Forgive me, but I found it interesting that they could immediately respond to that issue, but not the larger, most pressing issue of criminalizing already federally-regulated private transfers. Regardless, I remain here for friendly, good faith discussion.

Hyperbole to classify disagreement as such — and to ignore the voices of women who also spoke up just to satisfy a sexist narrative. Participating in adult conversation means accepting adult criticism and dissent, period.
When I was a kid, adults protected kids, they didn’t use them in political debates as shields to avoid fact or accountability in discussion. The people who robbed this girl of her childhood, as she says, are the people using her for this effort.
Also? It would have been great to see the Greta defense for the Convington kids whose folks didn’t have them seeking out the cameras, who were simply on a high school field trip. Apparently conservative kids aren’t worth it to the blue checks.

Ten reasons why you should oppose #RedFlagLaws, a brief thread.

1) #RedFlagLaws are an inversion of “innocent until proven guilty.” The standard of evidence is low and while state laws vary, many different people, not just family, can report you.
2) You don't have to be in the room (and advance notice isn't required) for the petition to be granted meaning you must wait to defend yourself. Most laws provide no penalty for abuse and no state law allows for civil cause of action against false accusers.
3) Time varies as to how long until respondents can have their day in court. A study conducted on Indiana's law, which said 14 day wait, revealed that the average wait was 9 months. Rights delayed are rights denied.

One of my best friends died twenty years ago today. His name was Jos Claerbout, and he was one of the best people I've known. I only knew him for a few years and have more Jos stories than I can count, but, since I mostly talk movies here, I'll share some Jos movie stories. 1/???
I met Jos freshman year of college through the radio station. He was excited that I was an aspiring filmmaker, and one evening started talking to him and his friend Jano about a film I had started writing with Matthew (a remake of a classic Western with mutants instead of Apache)
He was probably the most enthusiastic person I'd ever met, so he immediately wanted to be involved. His only condition was that he get to play a mutant with an arm growing out of his head. Obviously, this movie never happened.

Not a reader of @NicholasSparks but have watched several of his books as movies.

Tearjerkers for sure.

I'm a gay man that lived a life of fear, isolation, and quiet desperation from my early years on.
I probably would have benefited from a club that existed to say, "Whatever I might think about your sexual orientation, you deserve to be safe and free from fear in life."

And, honestly, I think that is what, in particular, Gay Straight Alliance Clubs are about.
Today, in schools that receive federal funds and that have a club forum or offer an opportunity for political, religious, or philosophical groups, formed by students, to meet, a rule prohibiting such #LGBTQIA clubs would violate the #EAA, the Equal Access Act.

Now I come to that old familiar challenge: finding art for a story about buildings. Turns out electrified buildings look ... a lot like non-electrified buildings. And it also turns out buildings are mostly pretty boring to look at.

I first need to confirm that you are talking about one of my strategies, and the rules have been perfectly explained to you. Post that, we will agree to set the ground rules in testing the strategy. There will be testing on 4 randomly selected 3 month periods totalling a year
If after testing for a timeframe of a year, if my strategy shows a net loss ( brokerage and costs will be taken into consideration), I will pay you 2 lacs.
If not, you will pay 2 lacs and also post on twitter that your claims were false
