Well it’s Thursday so that means it is time for the Week 3 edition of #NarrativeStreet. With two games under our belt it’s tempting to think the hay is in the barn, but that’s dangerous thinking. It will continue to change every week so don’t anchor those opinions....
...stay flexible and keep attacking as things evolve.

So let’s check in with the biggest stories and see what’s happening. We’ll hit some Team Narratives first, then finish with individual players....buckle up, it’s gonna be a long one...Happy Week 3 - LFG!

#NarrativeStreet
#Bears 📉📉: People are fuh-REAKing out. But they started v two ferocious pass rushes, and they came out 1-1. Am I excited about them? No. But they get a weak Wash D this week, and the post bye sked is pretty soft. Be patient.
#Buccaneers and #Niners Defenses 📈📈📈: The argument against paying for a D gets stronger. Todd Bowles has the Bucs D looking so much better. The Niners shut down a Bengals offense that moved the ball at will @ Seattle. Watch these two for streaming purposes.

#NarrativeStreet
#Browns 📈📉: The offense rebounded to a degree on MNF, but people are starting to bail. I think I agree. Their next 7 games are ugly matchups. That O-line continues to be a problem & #Njoku is now out. Love Beckham/Chubb, but I don’t see the team ceiling until sked eases up late
#Bills Offense 📈📈: This gif is every fantasy analyst admitting that #JoshAllen has the upside he showed late in ‘18. Their post bye schedule is 🤤🤤 This whole offense is gonna eat.
#Jets Offense 📉📉: Buy! You heard me. Buy on this offense. After a tough test this week they get healthy on a bye, & their schedule then sets up as *one of the best in the league*. They get #Darnold & #Herndon back & they’re poised to smash. Pounce on any nervous Jets owners.
#Bengals Offense 📈📈: what more do we need to see? The offense is different, more creative, and their D is still bad. They’ve thrown it 93 times in two games. Get all Cincy players and then hold em.

#NarrativeStreet
#Cardinals Offense📈📉: There’s been mixed results so far, but they’re exactly what we wanted them to be. They’re the fastest snap pace in the league, they’ve chucked it a league high 94 times, and despite some RZ difficulties it’s a fertile fantasy ground. I love it.
Lets hit some individual players now, and see where #NarrativeStreet has taken us. It’s only been 8 quarters, but some things are easy to see, others maybe not so much...here we go...
#Cam 📉📉: I’m tired of talking about him too....but I had hoped the mini-bye would get him right, but it turns out he aggravated the foot in Week 2. I want to hold him if possible, but in 1QB leagues he’s fine to drop. He needs to run & Week 8 is an eternity away in FF time
#Rodgers 📉📈: 2 tough tests to start & another one this week. If you believe in him hang on, we are about to find out what their ceiling is in Weeks 4-8. My problem? The dirty secret is that the pass catching group is underwhelming. And weeks 15&16? 🤮Not selling, but not buying
#LamarJackson 📈📈: Currently still regretting not having him. His first two matchups were soft, and the back half of the sked is much tougher...but we are splitting hairs. I’m still buying his second year leap. Temper expectations slightly, but I’m very much in.
#Jameis 📉📈: I said it earlier this week - where are the #Winston haters now? He was getting killed after week 1, but then he went on the road, no turns, and beat a tough Carolina defense for 208/1 on just 25 attempts. Again, for fantasy, I’m still in.

#NarrativeStreet
#Kyler📉📈: He’s had RZ troubles - but what young QB hasn’t? He’s got 94 PA in two games, & just 17 rushing yards v two disciplined Ds. The TDs will come and so will the running. He’s exactly what we wanted so I’m trying to get Murray on my team. Use his “mediocre” Week 2 to buy.
#Dalton/#Ross 📈📈: See #Bengals notes. Buy or hold. Fantasy 🔥

#Jeffery/#DJax 📉📉: Their Week 2 is a perfect microcosm of who they are. They will have big moments, but you can’t count on them. I *love* the #Eagles O, but counting on anyone not named Wentz/Ertz is not wise.
#Godwin/#Evans 📈📉: Don’t bail on Evans! It does appear that the offense is going to favor Godwin, but that doesn’t mean Evans is going to be second fiddle. He narrowly missed a score in Week 2, and his aDot is ridiculous. I’m in on both, and buying Evans from nervous owners.
#DJChark/#MarquiseBrown📈📈: I was skeptical on Brown bc of his snap share in Week 1. I was skeptical on Chark bc they lost #Foles. I think I’m wrong on both. They look great and I’m no longer skeptical. Give me all the
D-J-Chark do-do-do-do-do-do!
#Fitzgerald📈📈: A fast paced offense funneling targets to this badass? I was optimistic this summer and ultimately chickened out after I grabbed him a couple times early on, so I could “diversify”. I wish I had him everywhere. Monster season coming. No idea why I got cold feet.
#DerrickHenry📈📈: The haters are quiet these days. No this isn’t a victory lap, but what more do we need to see? He has 252 total yards and 3 TDs in 2 weeks. The jury that was out has returned a quick verdict. His upside is Top 3.
#DamienWilliams📈📉: Bah. The injury bug hits already. It was always part of the risk. Week 1 was what Damo owners wanted. Week 2 was food for the haters. I still think he’s fine if healthy, the PPR value is there. But it’s definitely a bad development this early.
#Dak 📈📈: The Offense looks great, things are humming. But it’s been two awful defenses, and this week is another. Weeks 10-15 are brutal. I still believe in the offense, but selling high before Week 10 isn’t dumb either.

#NarrativeStreet
#Gurley/#Brown 📉📈There was concern about roles before the season. There is concern about roles now. Am I missing anything? I’m out on the whole backfield.

#Keenum📈📉: No. Just don’t. The fantasy numbers are there bc of the bad D, but they are 0-2. The Haskins era watch is on
#AaronJones📉📈: LaFleur reiterated that he wants an even split at RB. The fantasy world went nuts. I get it. Jones is awesome. But this is the second coaching staff to tell us he’s not built for 300+ touches. I’d rather see a split and be able to use him in the playoffs.
#MarkAndrews 📈📈: I admit I totally whiffed on him. His numbers are awesome. BUT it was two fertile TE Ds, & his snap share is still too low for my liking. Doesn’t seem sustainable to me, but sometimes players are built that way (see Lockett in ‘18). I’m open to it now. 🤷🏻‍♂️
That’s it for #NarrativeStreet Week 3 edition. Week 2 was one of those brutal weeks for me that we are ALL familiar with. I used Tuesday to feel sorry for myself, but it’s a long season. Churn the back of your roster relentlessly and never stop grinding! Good Luck in Week 3!
