Ive serious worries about the RSF providing public services. Firstly from a PR point of view its disastrously effective. Not only does it help whitewash their image it undermines critical voices to them, because predictably we’ll oppose the growth of the RSF (1/3)

The RSF isn’t providing these services in addition to legitimate state institutions its is providing them instead of them, weakening their image & effectiveness of while simultaneously strengthening its own. This is a slow attempt to erode the state from within

Without being melodramatic Hemedti’s take over from within is very similar to how the Nazis took over Germany. Under the guise of Democracy the SS silently usurped the Army & the Gestapo the police. When the elites who’d empowered the Nazis realised their mistake it was too late
