Those with Narcissistic Personality Disorder appear like decent leaders: Loud, charismatic, seemingly confident - all characteristics that we like to follow behind. However, people suffering with this Disorder are actually just feeding a deep compulsion for attention.
Despite claims to want to help others, they're only in it to get all eyes on them, at any cost. They want to dominate, control, and play god everywhere their influence reaches. Want to test it? Gently criticize the Narcissist. Watch how they turn everyone against you.
A balanced adult would have a reasonable, mild reaction. "I disagree with your hypothesis because of these reasons..." Or, "You may be right. I'll need to reflect on what you said."

Instead of, "How dare you!" or, "I'm going to talk shit about you for the next two years."
