🚨Fruman and Parnas were under scrutiny because of their donation to America First Action, a pro-Trump super PAC.

The company they used to make the $325,000 donation, Global Energy Producers, was setup up only five weeks earlier.

Campaign Legal Center had filed a complaint with the FEC in late July. The complaint says that it was unlikely Global Energy Producers had enough revenue to make a $325,000 contribution so quickly.
Donald Trump Jr's girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, was hired by Global Energy Producers in July.

Given that Jr had lunch with Igor Fruman and Lev Parnas and his girlfriend is employed by them, he *had to know* about the illegal donations.

.@SDNYnews prosecutors should be on alert that since Parnas and Fruman are recycling Manafort's and Trump's attorneys, they are *highly likely* to be encircled in the Trump joint defense agreement.

Protect Trump = pardon promise.
@SDNYnews This thread is relevant. Parnas & Fruman have retained John Dowd and Kevin Downing.

Dowd called Flynn to tell him his refusal to cooperate with Team Trump would be interpreted as "hostility."

Kevin Downing worked with Manafort to lie to special counsel investigators and relay information gained in SC interviews back to Trump's lawyers.

It was clear a pardon was on the table.

(Not sure that's exactly working out for Manafort, but this chapter of history isn't over.)

My speculation on the charges ...

- They acted as couriers for Giuliani in getting dirt on Joe Biden.

- They've funneled a ton of money into pro-Trump super-PACs.

To be clear, Donald Trump knows he is giving gifts to Putin for his birthday, and he knows that Putin will understand they are birthday gifts.
