This speech is paid out of student fees. This speech is just one of many at public/private schools and in foreign countries. Don Jr made a paid speech in UAE. Some speech fees are as high as $100,000. I’ll bet he’s made over $1 million. 2/
While Don Jr paid speeches don’t break laws, they create a real risk of Jr getting unethical benefits from his father’s role as prez. Big risk of foreign governments using access to Jr as way to influence U.S. policy or curry favor. Ask Trump what he knows about Jr’s speeches. 3/
Ask Trump if Don Jr clears the payees or hosts - especially when foreign govts or foreign businesses/agencies. Does Trump have ground rules for speech topics/content or post and pre speech meetings with Jr? 4/
There are more conflict of interest issues when entities being regulated by federal government, such as public/private universities, pay huge speech sums to Don Jr who’s close to & in regular contact with his father & campaigns for his father. 5/
Remember how Trump campaign criticized Clintons during 2016 campaign for Bill getting paid for speeches while working with Clinton Foundation while HRC was Secy of State? Critics said those paying for speeches were paying for access & influence. Does Trump think it’s OK now? 6/

Trump promised U.S. public his sons would not be involved in administration when he resigned from his 400+ businesses & turned management over to Jr. & Eric to avoid conflicts of interest. Now Jr & Eric campaign for Trump, appear on Fox often about govt & political issues. 9/
It was one thing when Eric & Jr campaigned before Trump was president. But to do it when they also run Trump businesses is another huge blur of any lines between Trump businesses and U.S. government business and policies. 10/

In May 2017 Don Jr. was paid to speak at private American University in Dubai. University wouldn’t say how much Jr was paid & Jr keeps it a secret. Who paid for Secret Service at Jr’s speeches? The school? Doubt it. Issue FOIA for secret service costs for Jr’s paid speeches. 13/
This speech also includes payment for Jr girlfriend, Senior Trump Campaign advisor Guilfoyle who’s also former head of America First Action, a pro-Trump super PAC. Her speaking profile says fees are $30k-$50k and that she’s on Trump campaign. 
And Eric Trump’s wife, Lara is Senior Advisor to Donald J. Trump for President, Inc., the President’s reelection committee and consults for Parscale’s digital company. So both Lara and Gilfoyle work for Trump. More conflicts. Shows Trump presidency is a family business. 14/
