NANS had earlier warned and advised the Governor to stay away from all campus related activities across tertiary institutions in Nigeria due to the killings of promising undergraduates at Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State by CTU officers attached to the governor's wife,
Mrs Bisi Fayemi while on political tour of local governments in Ekiti state.
While reiterating Nigerian students resolve at ending all forms of impunity by the political class against helpless citizens, we wish to once again encourage the Ekiti state first family to in the interest of justice handover the Counter Terrorism Unit officers who mindlessly ...
killed Joseph Okonofua and Kehinde Dada (among several others critically injured) on September 9, 2019 during Erelu Bisi Fayemi's visit to Oye-Ekiti for immediate prosecution.
Those trigger happy officers must face the law no matter how long they are shielded.
Governor Kayode Fayemi and his wife, Bisi Fayemi remain banned on our campuses so long they refuse to allow justice run its cause on the dastardly FUOYE killings. They should maintain a distance of not less than 50 kilometers from our campuses.
We assert that no live is superior to another and that there is no alternative to resolving the issues around the unresolved murder until all demands made by NANS are met.
The report is already in the public domain and all lawful means of pressing for justice will be explored by NANS in bringing to book the perpetrators, irrespective of their social status.
We thank our numerous comrades who kept vigil awaiting the arrival of Dr. John Kayode Fayemi at the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State today.
This is a confirmation of the strength of NANS!
The NANS leadership shall continue to protect and stand for the interest of Nigerian students at all times without fear or compromise no matter whose interest is at the fore.

Nigeria imports N4,000,000,000 worth of diaper and sanitary kits yearly. In July 2015, Hayat invested $100.000.000 to build a factory; plus 14MW electricity. The facility has been completed, and work has begun to produce
1,300,000,000 units of diaper and 13,000 tons of tissue yearly.

Europe imports soybeans worth $14.2m from Nigeria, then go on to process it into oil and make thrice the money. In 2017, Alhaji Gerewa built a $50,000,000 processing plant in Kano, with a potential for export.
Production has begun with 5,000 workers.

Glass and stones are some of the items Nigeria import for building. In 2017, the importing company, Rongsheng, decided to relocate their factory to Edo State by building a multi-billion naira facility for glass processing.
