On Monday the Prime Minister will be ordered by the Court to send the letter and/or the Court will sign it himself. If the Prime Minister does not send the letter by the deadline tonight we *will* bring contempt of court proceedings against him personally. 
The Prime Minister with a mandate from 160,000 does not have to "negotiate a delay". There is nothing negotiate. The terms upon which he *shall* accept an extension were set down by Parliament, with its mandate from 46 million.
We have instructed Kenny McBrearty QC to draft civil contempt proceedings against the Prime Minister if he does not send the Benn Act letter. We plan to issue these on Monday, if necessary.
