Seriously, impeach Barr. If I told you that a country's law enforcement apparatus was being wielded like a bludgeon to harass former officials criticizing an ultra-corrupt president, you'd think I was talking about some junta somewhere, not the US politico.com/amp/news/2019/… 
What Barr is doing is so far out of bounds that it would be inconceivable as recently as ten months ago - Sessions, hardly a moral exemplar, steadfastly maintained his Mueller recusal for years despite extraordinary pressure! - and yet it's being largely ignored for some reason.
The fact that Democrats and a lot of media are now just shrugging away what are essentially open attempts by Barr to transform the DOJ into a instrumentality of Trump, shows that we are in fact still sliding towards the abyss every day, even if it feels like we're standing still.
