If reading Greenberg’s filing right, it gave $108,000 to Capitol Counsel for Turkey related consulting fees Oct-Dec. 2018, & another $108,000 for Feb-March’19. $216k, double what it gave Daschle grp, LB, & 30% what it gave Venable. GT/Mangas letter to Boustany dated Feb. 7, 2019
what one wonders is if Giuliani has an arrangement where some of what GT gets from client Turkey goes via a subcontractor like Boustany/Capitol Counsel or others to him.

His name is Robert Mangas, & he’s a lawyer at the firm Greenberg Traurig LLP, as well as a registered agent of the Turkish govt. Giuliani himself was employed by Greenberg Traurig until abt May 2018

WSJ: A federal council of US govt inspector generals has faulted a DOJ legal memo that initially blocked the Ukraine whistleblower’s complaint from Congress.
The memo was wrong in determining the matter wasn’t an urgent concern & recommended it be withdrawn or modified.
The lead signatory on the council’s letter, dated Oct. 22, is DOJ’s own IG Michael Horowitz.
The letter rejects argument made by DOJ Office of Legal Counsel that WB complaint didn’t meet statutory definition of an “urgent concern” & therefore didn’t require transmission to
