Rudy Giuliani isn't my fav person, but it's worth peeking into his associates and figuring out who these folks are and why they matter.

Come with me while we roll through the cast of characters implicated in Rudy's various nefarious schemes.

(2) If you want to do the bizarre person that is Rudy Giuliani justice, the background in Colbert's piece on Rudy's history is a good place to start.

Rudy is a strange, strange dude and like Trump, he's a raving narcissist who LOVES the limelight.

(3) But it's important to understand that while Rudy may seem like a cartoonish, farcical character, his actions have serious consequences.

Especially since he's the personal lawyer for the President of the US, whispering conspiracies in his ear.

(4) It's also very curious that Giuliani is working for Trump for free. I mean, come on. Rudy doesn't strike me as an altruistic type.

Somebody has to be fronting the bills for Rudy's hijinks, so it's natural to wonder who he's REALLY working for.

(5) Rudy's connections to Russia and the Baltics have always been murky and they definitely lean towards carrying water for Putin's interests.

And it's not unreasonable to assume Russia might use Rudy as a channel to communicate with Trump.

(6) The latest revelations of Rudy's connections to corruption in the Ukraine and Turkey bring up a lot of questions about who Rudy is working for and whether he should be registering as a foreign agent.

Which is alarming given his position in the WH.

(7) First, let's look at the two most high-profile corruption charges. Lev Parnas & Igor Fruman are two Soviet-born businessmen who have been trying to get control of a Ukranian gas company.

Their plan was to replace both the US ambassador & the head of the Ukranian gas company
(8) There's not a lot of information about Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, but they did establish a shell company to make more than a few political donations. Including to then GOP Texas Congressman Pete Sessions, former chairman of the House Rules Committee.

(9) Parnas & Fruman have a curious relationship with a Ukranian gas tycoon, Dmytro Firtash, who Chicago prosecutors have been building a bribery case against.

When Fruman and Parnas got arrested, pieces of a bigger picture of corruption fell into place.

(10) Daria Kaleniuk, director of Ukraine’s Anti-Corruption Action Center:
"The US for years was our key ally. Now Ukrainian oligarchs & kleptocrats are getting support from US senior-level officials."

And we should definitely be asking ourselves why.

I'm struggling with serious health concerns that I'm going to go public with here for 2 reasons.

(2) I'm a pretty healthy, active woman in her 40s. In March of this year, I developed intense migratory pain and fatigue. It began suddenly one day in my thighs, a bone-deep ache that worsened in the afternoons and evening.

In truth, the feeling was familiar.
(3) I'd had short episodes of this for the past several years but hadn't thought much of it. These aches usually occurred after a long flight or in a new climate that was cold or wet.

I assumed it was evidence of circulatory problems or the beginnings of arthritis.

(2) Congress really has three ways they can enforce subpoenas.
1: Criminal contempt
2: Civil enforcement
3: Inherent contempt

Let's go through these one by one and discuss the viability of each option. First, up criminal contempt.

(3) I'll be frank. With good ole Billy Barr at the helm of the DOJ, criminal contempt is a dead end. That's because it requires the support of the DOJ to find a person in contempt and enforce the subpoena.

Right now the DOJ is the WH legal defense team.

It’s been almost 7 months since we adopted a senior rescue. Foxx is literally not the same dog he was in March.

After treatment for thyroid problems and what I suspect have been lifelong allergies, his fur grew back and we discovered coloring we never knew he had.

After he was adopted, Foxx didn’t bark for a week & slept much of the time.

Daily walks have slimmed Foxx down. And lord does he run. It’s hard to believe he’s 8 years old sometimes.

And as you can see, Foxx is fully recovered from bladder stone surgery thank you very much.
Lately, Foxx has actually started to play. It’s something he wasn’t interested in much at first. I find myself kind of tearing up watching him rediscover a sillier, more playful side.

Such a good boy.

Giuliani just said that his now infamous "Rebuttal Report" won't be released tomorrow..can't imagine what's taking them so long (!) -maybe they've figured out that we only want it for it's comic relief value!
Jake Tapper isn't letting Giuliani get a word in edge-wise. Watching this today is actually entertaining, but Jake should realize that you cannot speak reasonably with the irrational. If it weren't so damaging to America it really would be funny. #SundayMorning
