My father served on deputation in the SPG & knows the Blue Book like the back of his hand.

The reasons given by the Amit Shah govt. for withdrawing the SPG cover of Gandhis are absolute hogwash.

To play with the lives of Opposition leaders shows how petty this man is.

We’re talking about a family that has lost 2 PMs to political assassinations whose SPG cover has now been withdrawn.

Shah doesn’t pay the SPG budget out of his pocket. It isn’t his money

If the INC doesn’t fight this legally in courts, then we will.

Either they restore the SPG cover or disband the SPG altogether.

This country is not Shah or Modi’s fiefdom.

This isn’t merely about a temple or a mosque. This is about someone illegally demolishing the Babri Mosque (as ruled by the SC today) & then being allowed to claim the same land.

Natural justice dictates that perpetrators of that crime should’ve been prosecuted first.

Founders of fake news rag @OpIndia_com are gonna go to jail for illegal foreign funding.

@rahulroushan & @UnSubtleDesi are taking illegal foreign funding prohibited under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), 1999.

It's not an NGO but a for-profit pvt. ltd. company.

Neither @rahulroushan nor @UnSubtleDesi are directors in this company.

On their website, however, OpIndia is soliciting "donations" from people which shockingly includes foreign donors paying in international currencies.

A for-profit company is NOT ALLOWED to seek donations. Only a registered non-profit/NGO with FCRA clearance can.

Like many others, @TwitterIndia threatened to “lock” my account last week on frivolous grounds.

In my appeal, I offered to sue & they immediately paid tribute to Savarkar.

But this stifling of anti-govt voices on Twitter by a biased management in India needs to stop.

As Twitter provides a “free service” it doesn’t directly come under the purview of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

But there’s a catch - if you “promote” even 1 of your tweets by paying money, you become a consumer & Twitter becomes a “service provider”.

I’ve been seeing a lot of tweets about people whose accounts have been locked in a biased manner because they’re against the ruling party.

This is unacceptable. Twitter India’s management should keep their bias at home when they leave for office.

He called me a day before the story was published & told me not to do it. I had sought comments from the then BJP president Amit Shah on the story. I politely told him I was going ahead with the story and would add his version of events if he wants to me to. He was shocked..(2/n)

In 2017 @rohini_sgh did @thewire_in story which showed revenue at his temple enterprises jumped from Rs 50,000 to Rs 80.5 crores from 2014-15 to 2015-16. Company stopped business in 2016 after Rs 1.4 cr loss.

After wire story amit shah claimed temple enterprises hadn't conducted business of a single rupee with govt, had not acquired govt land worth a single rupee, had not taken any govt contract.
He forgot to mention jay shah’s other company – kusum finserve- for good reason.
Jay Shah started kusum finserve in 2015 for trading in stocks. In March 2016 it got a loan of Rs 10.35 crore from Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited, a govt PSU for a 2.1 MW wind-energy plant in Ratlam MP, despite having no experience in wind-power generation.

As a child I discovered books and it opened up a whole new world for me. You wouldn't find me without a book. I read and read and read.
During holidays I read everything I could get my hands on. I read all the books my Dad had in his library. I read encyclopedia, books on psychology, motivational books. By age 12 I was reading Dale Carnegie and co. I read because I had to be reading something.
Ironically for all my reading I never developed the habit of reading Newspaper. My father was an avid reader of Newspapers still is. He used to buy 5 Newspapers everyday (Daily Times, Concord, New Nigeria, X X) I cant remember the other two then there was a weekly one on business
