#DebateNick, a hashtag calling for Daily Wire pundit Ben Shapiro to debate alt-right podcaster Nick Fuentes, trended last night/early this morning. We took a look at how it propagated. #AltWankers

@ZellaQuixote Where did #DebateNick get started? The first on-topic tweet is an exhortation from @ZoomerClips to trend the hashtag We also found a comment on 4chan proposing trending the hashtag (and another taking credit), but this appears to be an hour after @ZoomerClips’ tweet.
@ZellaQuixote @ZoomerClips Retweet network for the first ~4 hours of #DebateNick tweets. The hashtag appears to have gained sufficient momentum to trend largely due to a small but devoted group of accounts that retweeted dozens or hundreds of #DebateNick tweets apiece.
@ZellaQuixote @ZoomerClips What do these accounts look like? Disproportionately new - 159 of 876 (18.1%) were created in the last month, and 415 (47.4%) in the last year. The most common words in their tweets are “White”, “people”, and “trump”, and 118 of their profiles (13.5%) feature the term “Groyper”.

@ZellaQuixote We ran a few searches we never really expected to run, and found a network of 11 Stephen Miller pornbots. Although they were created over a span of several years, with the most recent being from 2016, none have tweets prior to October 30th, 2019.
@ZellaQuixote Unsurprisingly, the Stephen Miller pornbots repeat tweets. They’re also not solely Stephen Miller pornbots, as becomes clear when one looks at the repeated tweets; like many other botnets, they piggyback on trends. Weirdly, they strip the # from hashtags. #YouHadOneJob.

@ZellaQuixote We found a trifecta of IFTTT bots that clone nearly every tweet @sebgorka tweets or retweets. @SebGorkaTweets and @CassieMAGA2016 copy Gorka’s tweets in real time (more or less), resulting in schedules similar to Gorka’s own, while @Christo06390451 marches to a different beat.

Indeed, it advertises itself as a means to view Sebastian Gorka’s Twitter feed for those who are blocked by Gorka (although simply logging out or using an alternate account accomplishes the same goal.)

@ZellaQuixote We downloaded tweets containing the phrase “credit to the respective owners(s)” and found 61 accounts made July 2019 or later with extremely similar schedules and profiles. There are a few obvious themes, with supposed Native American accounts being the most common.
@ZellaQuixote The 61 accounts in question tweet via a combination of Tweetdeck and the Twitter website. Although use of the website is generally a good sign that a tweet is organic, it is possible to automate and due to the degree of similarity/repetition we believe that to be the case here.

For my sins, I read all 6K words of the SPLC's latest Two Minutes (Twenty Minutes?) Hate against Stephen Miller (written by @MichaelEHayden, based on e-mails provided by disgruntled former Breitbart employee @k_mcq). It was so explosive I almost fell asleep before finishing it.
Some of the sillier parts:

Ben Shapiro spent 45 minutes insulting & slandering me last night at Stanford and closed his monologue by saying “let’s have the conversation.” I agree. If my ideas are so wrong then he should have no problem debunking them when I’m actually there to defend myself.

Last night Ben Shapiro showed everybody how full of shit he is. This is the “world class” debater who uses his giant billionaire-funded platform to viciously attack me without even saying my name and arguing straw-men versions of my positions with himself. Real stand up guy.
Really impressive performance last night bro. Everyone is so impressed with how you plotted this little stunt to call me snarky names and argue my positions with yourself on the other side of the country from me. That takes a lot of guts! You rose to the occasion on this one.

Last night and this morning I pretty much decided my Twitter days were over, but for the moment at least here I still am. I'm going to share a few thoughts.
2. First, there is no possibility in the world that the glorious Homo Sapiens species is going to halt, or meaningfully reduce, the actions that are killing all other species and adding untold quantities of carbon compounds and mixed poisons to the atmosphere. None. Make peace.
3. In the simplest terms, every part and parcel of The Economy (proper noun) is what is killing the world.
In response, The Economy is offering two possible routes forward.
One is continue current practices unabated until the collapse.
