Revised JNU fee structure.

For those who believe JNU Education is not subsidised:

Each JNU student is subsidised by the Central government to the tune of Rs 7 lacs per year. He or she pays just Rs 200 to Rs 600.

Terribly sad day. My colleagues and I were barred from entering our department and labs at JNU by protesting students who chain-locked the entrance. The Security looked on.

Not uploading the clip as don't want the students' post-doctoral prospects hurt by their unlawful action.

Each JNU student is subsidised to the tune of 6.95 lacs annually by the Centre.

89% of all JNU hostel residents get fellowship.

If you still refuse to see sense & want to protest, then do so. But remember: Right to Protest does NOT mean Right to Prevent.

My colleagues and I were barred from entering our JNU labs again today. We had exams to take; @dasgobardhan had International grant proposal deadline to meet; experiments running; @shailjasingh75 had active parasite cultures...I don't know how one can do science in this country.

The JNU protesting students must realise wet science departments are unlike other departments that study theoretical fields. Crucial experiments, expensive equipment, running inside. Taxpayers pay for our research. Who loses? All of us.
