I have a theory about #JNU. If the BJP wanted to do something about it, they would have acted long ago. The entire country would have backed them. But they want to leave it as is, and for good reason. I for one support it. Here's a thread about why that is.
What the BJP has made of #JNU is an exhibition for the rest of the country. An exhibition of the most debased, the most degenerate, the looniest elements that the country has to offer. All concentrated in one place. That these elements hate the BJP blindly is a huge advantage.
The opposition and its ecosystem have totally missed how they have been played. Each time the media highlights was these parasitical louts are up to, each time the opposition descends there or supports them publicly, BJP's stock rises.
In fact, nothing helps the BJP more than some freeloading commie-islamist separatists being projected by the media/ecosystem as the opposition's answer to PM Modi. The same way Trump projects the loony left and not mainstream democrats as his main adversaries. Time tested ploy.
In between 2014 and 2019, the BJP successfully made a national villain out of Kanhaiya. They couldn't have believed their luck that the opposition and its ecosystem projected him as the next big thing and even made him fight the elections. Obviously, the guy came third.
If you don't believe what I'm saying, I have 2 simple questions.

1. This is a government that did in Kashmir what nobody did in 6 decades. There have been no terror attacks under them. They have struck Pak at least twice. When the CAA riots erupted, they brought things...
under control, whether it was in Jamia, Lucknow, or Mangalore. You're telling me they can't handle JNU once and for all?

2. When some students crossed a line this year and the administration had them by the balls, why did the education minister intervene and give them a hearing?
And here's why I fully back this strategy. If your enemies believe violence/terrorism/separatism is legit to bring you down, you have to be a moron not to use this factor to pull them down.

You're exhibiting their crap in a controlled environment, not letting it spread. Kudos.
