The Barr Doctrine

The legislative and judicial branches are encroaching on the executive

Legislators are bored with legislating want prosecutorial power - so they've transformed their "oversight" responsibilities into an all-out attack on the executive
Liberal judges want policymaking power - so they've fostered the idea that individual district court judges can unilaterally thwart the actions of the entire executive branch

40 nationwide injunctions against the administration by district court judges

This must end
We need to support a new re-assertion of executive power

It is a co-equal branch of government, not the subordinate of Congress and the Judiciary

The President has the constitutional duty to ensure that the laws be faithfully executed

The best way to understand the deep state is that it is a collection of independent, decentralized cliques of civil servants

Many of them have taken independent shots at Trump
There's the FBI clique - Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page

Then, there's the DOJ clique - Andrew Weissmann and friends

Now, we're looking at the NSC clique - Ciaramella, Vindman, etc
There was a CIA/Intel specific clique too, with Brennan and Clapper leading that one

There's not some grand conspiracy behind the scenes, because there doesn't need to be

Every clique hated Trump so they all started working against him at various points in 2016-17

He stays like that for a while, just thinking. Until a week ago, he didn't even know Jeongguk existed, he knew nothing about him and their best memories in the last a few days was when they fucked... But knowing a bit about his past life, their past lives... It makes him sad.
He doesn't remember them but the stories seem so naturally clear in his head, he came up with them after all! Or at least, tat's what he thought. It must be stupid to think if the person who 'owns' you is doing okay or not but... Taehyung wonders if he's okay!
Even in his mind, the story was very sad! Two people in love who died together but were re-born as the opposite. And then every time they got reborn, they had to suffer to be together again. Something is clearly not going right. What is Jeongguk's story in this life then?

Lewis says the whole controversy ramped up with the blog post. He says at this point he directed staff to contact SLED. Says SLED never spoke with him, neither did the solicitor's office or anyone else.

So, Bubble Ghost (1987) is a classic action-puzzle game for the Atari ST where you have to push a bubble through a maze by lightly blowing on it with your ghostly breath. It's been ported to a lot of systems and re-released a lot of times.

So let's look at the boxes!
The first & original version was the Atari ST version from ERE Informatique.
It's not overly cute but the ghost is very cartoony, even if they don't really match the shape of the one in the game.
The most common cover (at least for computers) is the Accolade one.
This is a little creepy from the emptiness, but they made the ghost smile, so you know this is a fun romp.
They used this cover on the IIgs, C64, DOS, and Windows (!) releases.

When you’re writing two books that are related, it can be hard to keep them separate, especially if you’re a holistic thinker.
This morning: writing about how white scientists don't believe scientists of color when we point out that something is racist, often because white scientists believe that they should be able to deduce everything from their own internal logic, ignoring external differences
Other book thoughts: ummm who thought it was a good idea to put me in charge of all of the words that go inside a book? WHO THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA????
