Former San Francisco Deputy Sheriff April Myres was sentenced for mail & wire fraud.
She reported a burglary at her home, claims a bunch of items were stolen including her gun, and then wouldn't cooperate with the investigation.

Turns out she was dating one of her prisoners at the jail, which she never mentioned in the investigation. After he was released from jail, he lived at her house UNTIL the morning of her reported burglary.
Sure sounds to me like he probably stole her gun and other stuff. No wonder she wouldn't cooperate in the investigation of a crime against herself.
