#TIL You can go back to regular @Dropbox atttachments (with legible, editable titles) on @trello by disabling the power-op and hiding the #Dropbox 'section'. Note that options on those previews differ. Your #Trello workflow and mileage may vary. #MessyNewFeatures
@Dropbox @trello E.g. a Dropbox embed opens a frame in the page, an attachment opens the preview on dropbox.com but both apparently have different options for opening, sharing or downloading at that point.
@Dropbox @trello Depending on whether you have the sync daemon *and/or* the app installed *and/or* on what OS you are *and/or what default text editor even whether you have Office or Office365.
@Dropbox @trello We spent a good hour comparing user cases on different machines, different service plans, with different permissions and login states — but couldn’t figure it out.

Jammer dat het subsidiedebat weer meteen gaat over de uitschieters, dat ene project waarin er 'naakten wat brallend over een podium lopen' maar dat niemand kan benoemen omdat het niet bestaat. Die tijd is al lang voorbij.
Wat wel bestaat zijn talloze groepen mensen, vaak verenigd in een 'vzw' inderdaad, die dagelijks cultuur verzamelen, ontsluiten en duiden zodat beginners of kwetsbare groepen ervan kunnen proeven of ervan kunnen genieten. Niet iedereen start met een abonnement op De Munt.
Het zijn vaak ook die organisaties die al jaren van project naar project werken en zo hun structuren vormen, omdat structurele subsidie hiervoor al eerder werd gekort ten bate van internationale uitstraling en publieksbereik. Niet alle cultuurbeleving kan of moet daaraan voldoen.

Hux and Ben are seniors in a HS. They are enemies with benefits. But Hux doesn’t pay their “relationship”-or any other other relationship in his life-much attention. He spends all his time studying.
Until the day Ben goes missing and Hux starts to see weird dreams with him.
When Ben didn’t come home and his phone was turned off one day his parents called everyone in the town. For a week people were terrified until Ben posted on his social media that his renowned his family, changed his name and didn’t want to see anyone in that shit hole of a town.
Local police, headed by Hux’s father, stopped the search. Ben is 18yo, if he wants to leave his family no one can forbid him.
Hux feels a bit hurt, for no apparent reason. Is not like he and Ben were close other than their reverie, constant bickering and a couple of drunk kisses.

“Go back to where you came from” is about as textbook racism as possible. Posting it publicly is about as textbook racial harassment as possible.

So those of us invested & born in a country should stay silent on our criticisms of our own govt because of our origins - really?

Been hoping to do the MKO Abiola/June 12 thread as promised before now but events are sometimes beyond one’s control. Seeing as tomorrow is the 25th anniversary of that date, I’m sure it is definitely a good time to do it.

And so, here goes: a Thread on MKO Abiola and June 12.
It is difficult to separate MKO Abiola from the story of June 12 and the June 12 struggle because as Gani pointed out back then, Abiola was the symbol of the mandate of Nigerians and his imprisonment became the rallying point of the struggle.

And MKO Abiola was a complicated man
Even more interesting, the June 12 story itself is a most complicated one with many sides but mainly two - the political and the ethnic; and two other ones - the activism around it and on a lesser scale, the family involvement.

The common thread though is Abiola himself.
