If you ever look at the Moon and wonder what the Earth looks like from there? It’s in the opposite phase as the Moon. Moon is full? Earth is dark. Moon is a slim crescent? Earth is almost full.

🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔 <- Moon

🌑🌘🌗🌖🌕🌔🌓🌒 <- Earth
The big difference is when we watch the Moon, all the way from its rising to its setting, we see the same side of it, the same features. If you watch Earth from the Moon, it hangs fixed in the sky, but spins; its continents slowly pass into darkness, and the stars pass behind it.
The other big difference is that you can see the Moon from anywhere on Earth (at some times of day/night/month), but if you go to the far side of the Moon, you never see the Earth. You get your day and night (each of which lasts half a month), but no Earth in your sky, ever.
There’s a caveat to the above — the Earth isn’t *precisely* fixed in the sky, if you’re looking up from the near side of the Moon. It wanders a bit, in a little circle, over the course of the month (your “day”), because the Moon always faces the same side to Earth, but it wobbles
Here’s a gif of that moon wobble, via NASA’s Scientific Visulization Studio & britastro.org/node/9399. It’s called libration. Not super noticeable night-to-night from Earth, but if you’re on the Moon watching Earth, you might notice the wander, especially if it’s near the horizon
