So my kids and I are going to livetweet a movie together on my birthday at the end of the month, and I've been trying desperately to figure out which one to do. Tonight at dinner the 12-year-old came up with the answer: The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T.
5000 Fingers is a beautiful, crazed, preposterous movie that Dr. Seuss brought into being in the 1950s, at the height of his early fame. He hated how it turned out, and never made another live-action movie, but it's truly the most wonderful thing.
(I also just discovered that @missannabiller is a fan of The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T, and suddenly everything makes perfect sense.)

What Irin said. And the idea that McKinsey would sue Buttigieg for violating his NDA in the course of his run for president is self-evidently preposterous. It's laughable.
As Irin suggests, sometimes breaking an NDA is the right and moral thing to do—sometimes it's not, of course, but often it is. So if Buttigieg's position is that it would be immoral to break his McKinsey NDA, he should say that, rather than that he can't. He absolutely can.
But as we see here, his campaign's position isn't that it would be immoral to break the NDA, but that he'd get sued if he did—and that he can't afford to risk the resulting legal bills.

My addiction for gadgets started in 2001, when my dad bought me the first home computer (assembled) where I got to choose chipset, graphics card, ram, HD type and size, the cabinet cooling, etc. But it really exploded with mobile phones. Here's a short history:
2003, Third year of undergrad

Nokia 3100 (sponsored by dad)

Had this exact one below. Glowing keypad, color screen, polyphonic ringtones. I was in love. Even back then, I was going for 'premium'
2005, Software grunt at CTS. My own salary for the first time.

N-Gage QD (a few months salary wiped out)

A gaming phone looking like that. A 22 year old me wasn't going to say no.

Okay, let’s start with the cover. My husband pointed out that the image has three upright cakes neatly lined up and the one blue cake that is fallen over. I assume that since there are four characters, the blue one is the autistic character. Out of place.

Next you have big bios of all the cast and crew. Then there’s a two page preface written by Alex Oates and by golly he is TRYING. He uses identity first language (brownie points for that) and tries to explain everything including the puppet.

One of the biggest talking points of the NRA and it’s supporters are the “human interest” stories about “good guys with guns”, and fanciful imaginings about how every shooting situation would end with a positive outcome.
Trump said during his “listening session” that if “that coach” had a gun, the whole incident at Douglas would have been over...

Or.......

1. Coach shoots 10 rounds and hits no one, and gets shot and killed. Shooter gets another gun.
2. Coach shoots 10 rounds and hits three other kids and another teacher, killing all of them.

3. Coach hides in a room with students until law enforcement gets there, and when they see him with a gun, they shoot him
