David Laufman, former senior DOJ official, interviewed by @maddow, alludes cryptically to investigations of Trump-Russia that “may have been closed” at the behest of GOP. No mention of Mueller, but reference seemed obvious. The first mention I’m aware of by a former DOJ insider.

Not mentioned in that thread is another detail I mentioned in other tweets: that, in addition to putting SCO on physical 'lockdown' to protect the 'Mueller report,' Mueller also immediately reported the above to Adam Schiff. Schiff has known the score since Barr came to office.
