because Monsanto (now Bayer) also invented/produced genetically engineered crops. To environmental activists, Monsanto is evil incarnate, an agribusiness behemoth destroying the planet and causing climate change. Activist-scientists at WHO produced a highly-flawed paper...

Enviro activists like Bernie Sanders and Emmanuel Macron have long targeted Monsanto; they want genetically engineered crops banned and Roundup use prohibited. That would devastate farmers and impact food prices:

In addition to making lawyers like RFK Jr very rich, the glyphosate/Roundup lawsuits bolster Democrats’ climate agenda to punish American agriculture, which they claim is a major driver of climate change. Lots to digest here, hope it helps!

No one has this shtick down better than the Frenches. They wielded the Christianity Today op-ed like a weapon against the Trump-supporting evangelicals they loathe. Funny how they give all sorts of advice about tolerance for the Left but offer none to Christians who back Trump.

My approach consists of 4 separate stages: 1) gathering sources, 2) reading/analyzing the sources I have collected, 3) organizing the sources and making a top down writing outline, 4) writing. 2/
Some people do research and write one chapter, and then do the same process for another. Others do research while writing. I don’t adopt these approaches. 3/

Stupid AU idea in which Hank takes up gardening to fill a void and get some hobbies, and accidentally upsets the delicate home of a tiny flower spirit/fae (GUESS WHO?) who then takes his petty revenge by making his garden do some Real Unexpected Things.
None of them are actually all that upsetting, but Hank is a little weirded out that his sunflowers grew to some record breaking proportions and his roses are blue for some reason. And that his tomato patch tastes like marinara right off the plant.
He's just a hobbyist, but once he starts sharing some of the unique things he's grown he gets a little bit famous for being that Guy with only a slight green thumb growing all those inexplicable freaks of nature. People are calling him a genius, a Michelangelo.

Because there's never been a cringefest I could walk away from, and because I've got some friends here and on FB who've been blocked by #ByeFaleena and can't see her video, I'm gonna grab some coffee, watch, and live tweet. I am unsettled.
Okay. Coffee is being made. Let's get this started. She begins the video by staring boldly into the camera and saying, "Hi. I'm Faleena Hopkins. I'm being attacked." She puts uncomfortably long pauses between these phrases, for impact, I assumed.
"To the point of dangerous. And I beseech the moneygrabbers to back. The fuck. Off." She stares unblinking into the camera. So, we've reached the "My life has been threatened," portion of the program.
