Here’s the thing, people. If Eugenicists a century ago thought poor, weird, immigrant Ashkenazi Jews ranked rather low on the IQ chart, but today, put wealthy, successful Ashkenazi Jews high on the IQ chart, maybe the IQ chart isn’t telling you what they want it to tell you.
Someone (very thoughtful) DMed me asking if this was indeed true a century ago. Yes, from the influential Carl Brigham's A Study of American Intelligence from 1923: 
(Jews were complicated, as there was plain evidence of intellect, but it didn't conform to the experience of the mass of poor, uneducated immigrant Jews filling up northern cities--Brigham had an answer with data: Jews were indeed lower on IQ, but with high variability--ta da!)
The thing that's hard is that intelligence testing is not entirely garbage--there are indeed good uses for it, like assessing learning difficulties to make essential interventions. But not ranking "races" or populations, or "explaining" history with modern genetics.
