Post Mortem And Conclusions On West Freeway Church Of Christ Shooting.
First: The gunman had an extensive criminal record and by multiple existing laws, Could Not Legally Own a firearm.
So much for gun laws preventing crime.
Second: The gunman used a Shotgun.

A shotgun, Not a rifle or handgun.
So much for weapons targeted for Confiscation by anti-gun activists and legislators.
Third: Details are still sketchy, but if the shotgun were a 12 gauge (most likely by availability and choice), whether pump or semi-auto, it could hold 6 shells

Hunters may only fire three rounds before the plugged shotgun must be reloaded.
The shooter most likely followed no such restrictions.
Fourth: If the loads were 00 buckshot, each shell contained 9 lethal 33 caliber pellets, each pellet capable of passing through a car door.

6 shells would have contained fifty four 33 caliber pellets, meaning that even firing negligently, the shooter could have shredded dozens of helpless, seated people if he fired all rounds, leaving many dead and severely wounded.
If not 00 buckshot but smaller pellets,

Each shell would have contained Many More than 9 pellets, still delivering multiple lethal hits, and in an even wider pattern.
Fifth: At least five concealed carry church volunteers were present in the vicinity of the shooter, seen on video approaching the shooter.

One defender was shot as he stood and tried to deploy his weapon, meaning that this brave act distracted the shooter and prevented him from firing on other innocent churchgoers.
Sixth: From a distance of 50 feet (considered a long-range shot for a handgun), one skilled

concealed carry defender was able to strike the shooter in the head and bring him down, ending the incident.
Other defenders, at least four, were approaching the shooter, not running or ducking, and preparing to fire at him.
Seventh: The entire incident was over in 6 seconds.

This confirms FBI and other law enforcement statistics FBI stats show that most mass shootings are over within the first 8 seconds.
Imagine the time between a desperate 911 call and arrival of law enforcement to an active shooting.
The carnage has already been carried out.

Only lawful concealed carry defenders have any chance of stopping a shooter before maximum mayhem is carried out against panicked citizens, whether in a school, church, theater, auditorium, shopping mall, restaurant or any other venue.

Eighth: Because this shooting, the weapon used and the alert, effective use of concealed carry firearms by the volunteer church security team to end the incident do not fit the narrative of anti-gun media and politicians, most if not all of the above facts will go unreported.

Ninth: Responsible citizens should recognize that if even a Sunday morning church service presents an opportunity to a deranged shooter, any other area in a community is equally as vulnerable.
Tenth: No churchgoer was hit by 'stray' bullets from any concealed carry defenders.

Lawful gun owners exercised strict control, accuracy and restraint throughout the incident.
So much for the 'spray of bullets hitting unintended victims' argument offered by anti-concealed carry pleaders.
Eleventh: The Second Amendment, the right to lawfully own and carry exists

for many vital reasons, recognized by the Founders of this nation.
No wise citizen should listen to the pleadings of anti-gun groups or elected leaders who wish to disarm law-abiding people with Even More laws that criminals will Ignore.

Twelfth: The choice before you is: Live....or Die.
Most states issue concealed carry permits to responsible citizens.
What will you do to protect yourself and your loved ones?
Knowing what you now know, is calling 911 going to save you?
