2/ studied the pioneering companies of the internet age. Amazon, Apple, Yahoo, Facebook & Google. These are the companies that have paved the way for how Ripple approaches many parts of the blockchain & DLT era. Ripple often compares ILP to TCP/IP which connected all web
3/ addresses. All a user needed to know was a web address to connect to anyone, anywhere, anytime. This would become the blue print for ILP. In the early internet days, the world was not yet ready or comfortable with sending money over the internet. This was the web
4/ of information. During this time, there was a crazy explosion of web based businesses. To coin a Brad term “it was a solution in search of a problem.” Legacy businesses would strain to find their “internet strategy “ Any new business that had “dot com” at the end of their
5/ name, would fetch crazy valuations from Wall Street. Any of this sound familiar? Think 2017, & ICO’s. Like the crypto market, the internet stock market cane crumbling down. So now we are in 2020. We have had a 2 year shake out. 2020 shows a lot of promise fundamentally.
6/ will the bear be replaced by the bull this year? No one knows the answer to this. What we do know is real adoption is happening. Infrastructure is growing. This is a new asset class & it’s here to stay. The bear will end sometime & a bull market will replace it.
7/ What will happen when we are in a bull market. & institutional investors figure out that anything of value can be sent over the rails of ILP? What will happen when the world learns the fastest, cheapest way to send value is to use XRP? How will Wall Street value the
8/ the addressable market for a digital asset that can be used for “all the money” that can be sent all over the world, any time, to anyone? Ripple is making their vision come true one day at a time. Many of us are watching this journey every day. One day, there will be an
9/ “ah ha!” Event for XRP that will get it noticed on the world stage. This is the reason I don’t sell or trade. It sucks to wait, it would be worse to be out & try to chase it on the way up. I HODL!
